As you all know, I am a senior at UALR. I'm an honor student, and I have been for my whole academic career.

That was until my advanced drawing professor, Delita Martin, gave me an undeserved grade. D as in dog! I had an A, four B's and a D. That doesn't even sound right. I worked my ass of (as if I had any)! But I did not play dead, oh no!

I filed a grade appeal! You can too if you feel that you got a grade you did not deserve. Be prepared to show proof. Check your school policy because there are exact procedures and deadlines.

So, the first me and the teach met. She told me my grade was a 69. Then I know she had it out for me. My whole career at stake, and for something so subjective as a drawing she can't find one percentage point.

Also, she had humiliated me in front of the class on several occasions by saying she had told me to drop the class. She told me to just throw away many drawings.

So the error was that she had completely not counted one of my drawings I turned in for the final portfolio. She said she didn't see it. Then I showed her the PowerPoint presentation with the drawing. I guess she's not hip to technology. I can't fake a creation date!  She says she's still standing by her grade.
 
I won't say profanities as I am angered by her lack of character. I will say that if you see her name on a schedule run!

Teachers are there to help not hinder! But as we see often this is not the case.
